So when using baits and the ants are at the point of dieing they let off warning pheromones to let others know there's danger and also some kind other kind of acid and they're strong. It linger through out the air and leaves this weird taste in your mouth and has this chemically smell every so often. So if you have multiple colonies I highly advise you to do one at a time or when your leaving for days cause it's been 2 days now and I did 4 colonies not knowing this and it's still bad and it makes you feel a lil off and so ya I can't believe that stuff doesn't explain that on the packaging and isnt something well known with this, cause if I'm feeling like this and and I'm a bigger guy with no underlying conditions I can't imagine what it would do to kids and ppl that have health issues!
So I had an ant problem in multiple spots in my place, no food issues just them foraging trying to find food. So I got some ant traps, which its the first time ever using them, the ones I used were raids blue packs, and so I had them out for one day, 4 diff bait traps in 3 diff rooms and a bunch of ants came ate it and went back to there colonies in the frickn walls mind you, the next day and now the following day I've had this weird taste in my mouth and every so often I smell this weird like kind of chemically smell. I wiped up there trails with Lysol wiped to get rid of there pheromones so idk what else it is, is this the smell of them regergitating the bait up and then also dieing, and because there were 4 diff colonies it's so strong? Idk but it's starting to get to me being it's day 2 now and idk what it is. I mean I crashed on my ebike the same day and have some bruised ribs and chest and so I'm like starting to mentally sprial into everything and anything it could be, like myandlord down stairs just started gardening to and now she's been gone for the last two days so I'm thinking did she spray some pesticides and then leave cause she knows it's bad and does this and then just dint tell me, idk at this point but has anyone experienced this with the ant situation?
