Basic advice on how to go further

So i bought a 2017 Renault Kwid RXT in Hyderabad for 1.5 lakhs in Jan'26

The car needed few repairs at the time (brake light wiring, clutch cable, etc)

Now I'm on the verge of quitting cars forever.

My car doesn't slide in reverse or keeps popping itself out of reverse gear when picking up speed (this issue has not yet been identified to a particular part)

When I went to gas refill, the guy told me I need to replace the compressor (28k for it).

I'm starting to think I've made a mistake and honestly i don't know what to do whether to sell the car or fix her up. Its my first car ever and I plan to keep it for another 5-6 years but right now, i don't know what to do with it.

Please advice me seasoned car enthusiasts. I love my car but I don't know if i should just give up on it. My heart says don't give up, but my pockets, their scared.

EDIT: The car runs well overall, no other issues with the gearbox, engine is perfectly healthy and happy and only done 36k kms (genuine)

I'm having low cooling issue with my 2017 Renault Kwid. The ac does push out cool air but it's not very cool (tested in 45 deg C and cabin was borderline comfortable)

Took it to a local ac shop, he tried refilling gas, later he says the compressor is not taking in the gas properly and not releasing on the high pressure end. Gas refill did also improve cooling slightly.

He said ac compressor replacement is needed (asking 28k for it, boodmo and other sources give part for 10-13k)

How much should I believe this mechanic? The cooling is there undoubtedly but on the lower end overall in performance

Any advice from other users would be highly appreciated!
