What happens during mass casualty events?
I was watching a World War One documentary yesterday and it really made me think about what happens in times of war or natural disaster where there are casualties on a mass scale.
Does each person still have their own individual experience?
Do they go straight to the transition area or stay near their bodies and see the devastation that surrounds them?
Do those that died see one another right after death, either still here floating above earth or in the transition area?
I have tried to find accounts of NDE's from war veterans and survivors, specifically from WWI and WWII, but haven't had much luck, which is understandable. I haven't looked up NDE's from natural disasters yet, but am going to do some more research today. I would be very grateful for any resources to find more information or just an open discussion about this topic.
