Do you guys have any critiques or pointers on my marketing photography?
I’m going for an elevated embroidery type of vibe, I’m also focusing on the one-off customized embroidery clientele.
Can you guys please provide pointers? I’m wondering what went wrong here.
I turned off zigzag underlay and just left edge run enabled.
The letters stitched from the inside out as well.
Sharp 75/11 titanium needle was used and the hat was hooped correctly, so no registration issues from what I can tell.
No stabilizer used since it’s a Richardson.
I did change the density to 0.009 inch/0.23mm (maybe this was the issue or maybe the font isn’t the best?)
Bobbin is reading 27gf on the tension gauge
I’m getting quoted 7,900 for a Happy Japan 701P (7-needle with commercial motor).
It would include the brand new machine and the hat hoop kit.
Anyone here have this machine and how do you like it?
Pros and cons?
Is this a good deal? I spoke with the sales rep and he got me down to this number. The machine is “open box” but he noted that it was used for a class at their headquarters as was inspected by their technician before being resealed. So it was not sent to an actual consumer.
If anyone is interested in getting into embroidery, I’m upgrading to a commercial machine and have a basically mint condition brother NQ1700E ready for a new owner ($)! I don’t mind teaching you how to use it either :)
