Hey guys, I recently purchased a new 2025 cbr500r and am throughly enjoying it. It’s a nice upgrade from my 2015 cb300f and would happily recommend it at this point

Anyways, I have a question and would love some insight or first hand experience.

After doing some research I found out that you shouldn’t run fully synthetic oil until the engine is fully broken in which according to some is between 1500-4000 miles or even more.

I was gonna do three oil changes using Hondas GN4 at 600/1500/3000 miles and then switch to Hondas HP4S on the fourth change. Does this sound wise? I should add that this bike will be used as my daily commuter.
