Our objections to the proposed Starbucks drive-thru

We're objecting to the proposed Starbucks drive-thru in the Galway Shopping Centre.

This area has some of the worst congestion in Galway, and the last thing we need is more car centric developments to make this worse.

We are submitting a formal objection ourselves. We understand most people won't make a formal submission as it costs so much, so the petition is a more accessible way of objecting. You can sign it here: https://my.uplift.ie/petitions/object-to-another-starbucks-in-galway

If you'd like to get involved with similar campaigns you can come along to our AGM on the 9th of September. More info here

Galway Commuter Coalition AGM

Hi!

We're holding our AGM next month on Wednesday the 9th of September at 19:30.

It'll be in Murray's Coffee House, Salthill, H91 AT1F, the same place as last year!

https://maps.app.goo.gl/PXbNo3CF4zYmSfgK9

We'll be reviewing the work we've done over the past year, setting out our plans for the coming year and electing a committee!

Of course afterwards there'll be some socialising. Some say we will also have cool new stickers to hand out too.

If you've any interest in getting involved in the coalition or thinking of joining the committee please join here and get in touch over email or whatsapp.

It's been a tremendous first year for us, and we'll only get stronger over the coming year.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
