So, my younger older brother and my other little brother were both hanging out and bike riding all day today, then my older younger brother takes my younger brother to the hospital because he was in pain. And I prayed it was nothing major. I was in the bathroom, then I get a call from my older younger brother, and he tells me our little brother has testicular cancer, I believed him, and didn't catch on the fact they were both clearly joking, so here I am thinking the matter was urgent, so I wake up my dad from his sleep to tell him this. Then he gets mad because I woke him up, then he calls my older younger brother to confirm if he does indeed have it, to no surprise he doesn't, now both my brothers are calling me ret****. it's now 1 am and I and my dad cannot fall back asleep, and is constantly yelling and screaming at me on how much I ruined his sleep. I am such a damn idiot and now I cannot fall asleep just because of how I ruined everyone’s sleep tonight. And I've been made the -50 iq clown of the situation and night. I can't believe I didn't catch on to it, he told me he was joking and I didn't hear him say that. They were also giggling, but I thought they were coping or something idk. I understand I am in the wrong here. I legit don't know why I'm doing this, I guess I am unintelligent for complaining on Reddit. Any advice on what to do atm? I understand most of you will probably say something like “get better at reading people”, or “don't be stupid”. I'm 25 yrs old if that helps.
