Got Robinhood Gold card today, but have been using paypal debit 5% for a while, and it's getting nerfed in August, and I want a replacement. I will have this hard inquiry on my profile but all of my other hard inquiries will be more than a year old by August. My scores are between 760-770 depending on bureau.

If my target is to apply before/during August, should I apply for a Custom cash (if so, when?) or product change my existing double cash into a custom cash?
