Hi

Bought a xiaomi 17 pro max recently for my wife. She uses some Indian banking apps , so when we tried to setup the banking app is not able to send the SMS and I can see message failed. I tried to send a normal sms and it works - so nothing to do with the SIM carrier.

I tried various settings allow permissions and other things but no luck . What I observed is the Premium SMS section is empty. In her previous xiaomi 13 ultra it used to show with options for allowing permissions to Messaging app there.

Any advice on this pls.
