I've been making Final Fantasy Tactics content for a little bit now (and really appreciate any support I receive on here), but I wanted to do something different this time.

Instead of another guide, I spent months researching & digging into the mechanics, secrets, exploits, and development history of Final Fantasy Tactics.

It's about an hour long, so this is definitely more of a deep dive documentary type thing than a quick "here are 10 facts you didn't know" kinda deal.

I haven't shared the last few vids on here that were more update/news vids that the info had already been shared on here, but I figured some of you would have fun watching this one.

I would also love to hear some of your own obscure facts that you know from any of the various versions of FFT as well!

I know some folks don't like video content, so I apologize!

With new game+ being kinda barebones, I shared the mod I have been using that has given me the freshest gameplay experience since the old Hactics days of FFT and WOTL. I break down the mod with gameplay and also go over my entire mod list and some ones I want to highlight from the community.

Thank you so much to all the modders and the Hactics community, you all are pillars of the community and provide so much replayability to our favorite games.

Do you all have any mods you are really digging at the moment?

I have been having an issue where one of the supports will pop off the built plate. The brim/bottom later looks a bit warped but I dont know if that is just from it cooling after popping off.

If I am printing a 145mm tall person in a T pose, the supports on the sides to support to extended arms are the ones this happens to, its never the core of the model.

After every print I use Dawn power wash and have a dedicated scrubber and then do not touch the build plate.

I thought I had fixed the issue when I bought the bambu plate glue (I used a cool plate) and then I had adjusted these the following

[Initial Layer Density: 100%

Initial Layer expansion: 0mm

Support Wall Loops: 2

removed any grid layers, all mono or gyroid now]

This helped complete some models that were failing, but I dont seem to have solved the problem.

I am thinking of increasing the Initial Layer expansion after doing some research but im unsure of what mm, and im thinking of decreasing the wall loops as the support itself isnt breaking but its just popping off the plate.

With the glue it says 40-60C so i change the bed temp to 60C but ive tried the standard 65C as well.

I would love some ideas to help, other than clean it, because trust me I am cleaning this sucker!

Hey everyone!

Been a minute since I made a video, but this new update fueled the fires. Patch 1.5 is here, which brings several QoL updates as well as New Game+

In this video, I go over the patch notes and then have a discussion about all the prior comments about the game's budget, along with Matsuno's recent comment. I use Tactics Ogre Reborn as a comparison as well as Square's financial situation. I love TIC so much (if anyone has watched my content before, they know), but this one hurt to have such a difficult conversation about.

How is everyone feeling about New Game+ ?

I was back and forth on whether I was enjoying it or not. Put some more time into it and I'm loving it. Each one of the hero units has fun builds and combinations with squads. I do understand the criticism of have the random squads and rng traits. I did like having an army like xcom and equipping them, progressing, etc. But this new set up keeps things fresh with the randomization and also allows me to focus on the hero units/builds instead of managing an entire army.

I'm really enjoying some of the changes. It feels like they really stepped up the production value. I enjoy having "hero units" to lvl up and strategize with.

The changes to the solider units is what I struggle with. Only 7 capacity so I basically only get to bring in one unit with some servitors. I dislike being stuck with one unit. I would love to have blended units compositions. Otherwise I lvl up my skitari vanguards and then unlock the robot skitari guys (sorry forgot the name) and what's the point using them pitted against my lvl'd up skitari. Where if I could bring in 2 of a unit and 2 of another unit etc I would be so much more enjoyable.

How is everyone else feeling? I was really looking forward to this game and I haven't dropped it, but I'm a little disappointed

Thanks everyone for the replies. It turns out I'm still pretty early on in the game and the capacity amount will be increasing which will allow for more mixing and matching of units!

I have been looking forward to this game for so long and have really enjoyed what I have played but I have encountered some bugs. Like Videx's inspire simply doesn't work. I enjoy the challenge of these games but not knowing when a skill is going to work or not makes it really difficult. I think I am going to have to come back to this after some updates.

Is anyone else having issues like this??
