Old version of Samsung Music no longer works on OneUI 8.5
I have been running an older version of Samsung Music, 16.2.40.5 specifically, for the 4x2 Widget to be able to scroll and select music from the home screen. I have been using it for years across multiple phones, but the widget was removed within the last year or so with updates to the app and in it's place was a downgraded 4x1 option without the ability to scroll, so I'm running the older version with the widget. However, since the update to OneUI 8.5 on my S24 Ultra, the app no longer works and doesn't even finish the animation to open the app. The only reason why I updated my phone in the first place was to stop the incessant popups that appear and interrupt apps at any moment multiple times a day, just to have it break one of my most used widgets on an app that I use everyday. Is there any way of getting it to work again, or am I screwed?
