In UCN, the Vengeful Spirit is said to be the one creating the roaster of this game:

And even in some cases, the VS can control and talk through them directly. Like with the Mediocre Melodies

>"This is how it feels, and you get to experience it over, and over, and over again... forever. I will never let you leave." -Nedd Bear

>"He tried to release you. He tried to release us. But I'm not gonna let that happen. I will hold you here. I will keep you here. No matter how many times they burn us." -Orville Elephant

So this shows that the VS has created (and can control) the 56 animatronic roster (+Dee Dee) in UCN. Which means he technically can take many forms and personalities.

So what if Yellow Bear (FNAF 1 Golden Freddy), in the cutscene, is actually just Andrew again controlling one of his creations.

And the reason he chose to look like Yellow Bear is because you beat the hardest challenge in UCN, which in the previous games (FNAF 2, SL) is usually called the Golden Freddy mode.

We also get a Golden Freddy jumpscare in FNAF 1's custom night when we put in 1987

What if Scott used two different GF models, in UCN, for different reasons?

The actual Golden Freddy, Cassidy, is represented by the Withered Golden Freddy model. While Yellow Bear would be used to show the VS.

(I want to make this clear, this is only in UCN, not the other games)

After FNAF 1, Scott always made the effort of making Golden Freddy more withered than regular Freddy.

He always uses W. Golden Freddy in merch and games after FNAF 1. He made Yellow Bear withered like he is in FNAF 2 in the movie, and in the tickets to fun kit, there is a drawing of Golden Freddy that looks more like Withered Golden Freddy than Yellow Bear.

Point is, Scott never made GF just a recolor again.

So what if he used Yellow Bear in the cutscene to hint that this isn't the actual GF, but a pretender?

What also COULD hint at this is something from Scott.

Scott has gone on record to say that GF doesn't move. Yet in the Void cutscene, he is moving a lot. More than any Golden Freddy that we see.

(This is a weak point, but I thought I'd mention it)

Monty Gator in Security Breach also having a Golden Freddy plush in his green room and wanting to take Freddy's place in the band could also hint at this theory being true, since Andrew (who is wearing a Gator mask), could have a fondness to the yellow bear and that's why he looks like him (both as Yellow Bear & Fredbear) and tries to take his place.

Both Monty & Andrew also HATE the Bonnie character, which are Glam Bonnie & Spring Bonnie (Afton).

Pros of this theory:

• Keeps the FFPS ending intact (all five MCI souls are free)
• Would be in line with what we know about UCN, which is just the VS against William. No other souls are present
• Makes sense with the Vengeful Spirit's abilities

Cons:

• Would be very misleading from Scott. (Even when UCN already hinted at an extra victim)

TLDR:

Yellow Bear in the Void Cutscene isn't actually Cassidy, but Andrew controlling the bear (like he does with the mediocre melodies). The reason he looks like GF is because you beat the hardest challenge in UCN (which is typically called the Golden Freddy Mode in other games)

While I believe UCNDissent, there is an there's an idea on UCN's story I want to put out there.

Which is that, Cassidy was ORIGINALLY the one to create the UCN for Afton.

But Andrew infiltrated this dream world and took it over, kicking Cassidy out and taking her place.

To elaborate, we know Andrew was the reason Afton is kept alive after FNAF 6. He tells us this much in Frights.

>"But I do remembering wanting to get back at someone who hurt me. I think I attached myself to him. I got into his soul, made sure he couldn’t move on when he shoulda died."

So if Andrew was the one keeping William alive, then what is the deal with Golden Freddy (Cassidy)?

Well, my idea is that while Andrew kept William alive, Cassidy stopped Afton from truly coming back. Similar to how in Movie 2, the GF kid kept William at bay so he wouldn't hurt anyone and not come back.

>"...I won't be able to hold him anymore. He'll get out eventually."

To keep William at bay, I think Cassidy might've made a Nightmare world and made Afton think he's a night guard at Freddy's.

While also taking the opportunity to torture her killer. Like how Movie GF is able to give Mike the same dream every night of a life he wished he got, where his brother is alive.

And that is where Andrew comes in. Since Andrew is attached to William's soul. He is able to infiltrate this nightmare world, and influence it. And the characters in this dream seem to notice it.

It's interesting that when some of the characters mention TOYSNHK, they act sort of surprised or weary of his presence.

>"He's here, and always watching, the one you shouldn't have killed."

>"I have seen him, the one you shouldn't have killed."

Even though presumably, he is supposed to be the one in control. So why would they feel surprised or maybe afraid to see him?
And some characters act completely opposite to these two, with N. Freddy saying that he was made by TOYSNHK and some of the Mediocre Melodies are literally puppeteered by him and he speaks through them.

What's also interesting is that Bonnie is aware that he is trapped in this nightmare with William.

>"What is this new prison? Is it me trapped, or is it you? Perhaps, it's us both."

Showing again how these characters are sentient in their own way, yet are trapped and controlled by an outside force.

(Bonnie in this isn't an actual soul, rather is just a dream character like Mike's family in his dreams in the Movie)

So perhaps, Cassidy was originally the one to make this dream world for William as to hold him off from coming back, but then Andrew stepped in and influenced the world his own way. Adding new characters, controlling some of them directly and making sure Afton won't die.

But like Blonde Boy in the movie, Cassidy can't hold onto William for much longer.

The higher score William wins, the more it weakens Cassidy's hold on him. And so when Afton beats 49/20 mode, either Andrew or Afton kick Cassidy out.

If it was Afton, then the his reason for beating her is obvious.

If it was Andrew, then I think it's because of selfish reasons. He wanted to be the only one to torture William. (I mean he was selfish enough to call himself the one Afton shouldn't have killed)

So he kicked her out and took over. That's why GF is twitching in the cutscene. She is forced out and set free.

Perhaps this was shown in a way with how Monty, in SB, wanted to replace Freddy as the leader of the band. As seen in the last level in the Monty Golf AR-Cade, and him taking Freddy's place in the Van ending.

Monty having a hatred for Bonnie, I think, is supposed to mirror Andrew's (Gator) hatred for Afton (Rabbit). So perhaps his hatred of Freddy (the bear with a purple bowtie) is also supposed to mirror Andrew & Cassidy.

Cassidy being the one in control of UCN before 49/20 could also be backed up with the OMC Ending.

Where when the old man convinces Cassidy to just leave Andrew & Afton together, she is set free and UCN ends (which is shown by the game crashing).

As a result of 49/20 and GF being freed, Afton would be then taken to a hospital and eventually comes back again for one last time. (Fetch, and then the Agony amalgamation)

TLDR:

After FNAF 6, Afton was kept alive by Andrew, so to prevent him from coming back, Golden Freddy holds Afton off by creating a dream world where he's a security guard at Freddy's. Andrew seeing this, decides to take over this dream world and then Cassidy was too weak to hold on and so she was forced out and set free.
