Why can't PlayStation hire competent developers to maintain and fix their store!?

I went to go and buy a game I knew had released yesterday and it wasn't there, in the New Games section on the PS5. But, it's there on the app and website.

So I had a deeper look and the console is showing 98 games in the New Games section, whereas the app and website shows 259 from the same period (the last 4 weeks). It's not games from the same time period either, it's seemingly random games from every day which aren't in the New Games section anymore - I imagine they've got a different tag in the background and the store is now choosing to hide them on the console!

Annoyingly, there's no way for us to report this issue as customer service doesn't listen and PS doesn't have a feedback forum, so I've reached out to various affected developers and told them to report the issue.

Until then, I'd advise using the app, website or a third party website to look at the newly released games, as the store on the console is only showing around 1/3 of what's actually been recently released.

You can, if you HAVE to use the console, go to the store, browse, then filter by recently released. This will show most of the correct games, but there's an ongoing bug which flags some games as 'coming soon' - these games won't appear here as the store doesn't think they've released, such as the new Jay and Silent Bob game.

I've reported this bug to PS so many times, but they refuse to fix it, even though (hilariously) it also affects almost all of their own published titles!
