What does the Exclamation Point on a Map Icon mean?

I was excited to make some expansions to my base during my lunch break today. Unfortunately, I miscalculated where I had a storage chest while demolishing a floor between levels and it was demolished with it.

When that happens, the contents are left in a container on the floor as pictured. Unfortunately I logged off not having realized what happened. I logged back in, hours later, and by the time I realized what had happened, it was all gone. Not sure what the decay timer is.

It was my "components" box with stuff you loot vs mine/gather, like Plasteel Microfora Fiber, Blade Parts, Gun Parts, EMF thing, Micro Sandwich, Servoks, Particle things, etc... and I had A LOT. However I am looking forward to kicking some Slaver, Sandfly, Mas Kharet ass to restock 😁

He came right up to the edge of whoever's base. Closest I've come to getting eaten, lol
