I was involved in an accident

I was finishing up locate for a home owner i was parked outside between 2 driveways. I was sitting in my truck billing out a ticket and after I closed it I look up and see the homeowner backing out of the driveway and saw she was close to the truck. Afraid she would hit the truck I go put it in drive to move but before I could accelerate she hit the back of the truck it was a hard enough hit to push my body and whip my head forward. I wasnt wearing a seat belt cause i wasnt in the process to drive off. She gets out and accuses me of reversing into her. I call police (procedure) and she also sees the dash cam and starts going on a tirade about i shouldn't of parked in front of her house cause nobody parks in front her house. She said I should of called her to tell her I was there. Apparently having a rear view camera, side mirror, and a head that can look around cant see a truck with my light bar flashing. So now im rolling around with a broken tail light, and she gots a dent from where she hit the bumper to the corner of the tailgate.

How would you handle this oncall emergency

Little frustrated about this one since I basically worked from 6am-9pm with a 30m lunch and 1h30m before my 1st of 10 oncalls. Got to emergency ticket 8 of 10 the locate instructions said locate west side of property to repair water service line. It was after hours of a gated business. Call the number on ticket to get access. Voicemail. Thinking they set it to call twice so it would go through, voicemail again. Call team lead. He said go do the other 2 emergencies and still try to get ahold of contractor. Get done with other 2 and call more, straight to voicemail. So I get there an hour later no other utility company marked yet so i marked feeder from pole to fence and arrow it off and called it a night. How would you do it different

I found out today I had a close family member die. I informed my supervisor about it and he wanted me to still get tickets done. I closed 40 tickets then tried calling him twice to go home meanwhile he's sending out emails to all the techs. I called my lead tech to ask if my supervisor was still on project with him and informed him i wanted to go home. My lead tech didn't know a family member died and said he'd reach out to my supervisor to no answer. I left with less than an hour left of my shift and when I get home my supervisor texted me telling me I need to do a locate that I closed out months ago that isn't on my board
