DiscoverEU mobile pass “Show ticket” button greyed out
I’m currently travelling with a DiscoverEU Interrail Global Pass, and today is one of my travel days.
My Ljubljana → Milano Centrale journey is definitely added to my Pass. The journey appears in My Trip, the toggle is pink/active, and My Pass shows:
“Wednesday, 12 August 2026”
“Ljubljana - Milano Centrale”
“All set! Show your ticket during inspection.”
However, the “Show ticket” button is completely greyed out and I cannot tap it.
I’ve already:
Added the journey to the Pass
Activated today as a travel day
Checked that the journey is active in My Trip
Made sure I have an internet connection
Restarted the DiscoverEU app
The weird part is that the ticket worked normally yesterday. Nothing about my pass or journey setup has changed.
I have to show the ticket to a train inspector today, so I’m pretty concerned that I won’t be able to display the QR code when they check.
Has anyone using DiscoverEU experienced this exact issue? Is there a way to force the ticket to generate, or is this a problem with the app?
