This is only a small corner of the collection

This is only a small corner of the collection

I’ve been collecting H for quite a few years without even realizing it.

I’ve slowed down a lot these past two years, but a few years ago I used to check in all the time. Some bags were all I could think about before getting them, but once they finally came home, the obsession sometimes faded faster than I expected.

That being said, the collecting process itself has been really enjoyable. Slowly finding the colors, leathers, and styles I actually like gives me a strange kind of satisfaction.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that being direct with your SA usually makes things easier. Saying clearly what you like, what you don’t like, your budget, and what you’re actually looking for saves a lot of time. When the relationship feels comfortable, both sides have an easier time.

What’s in this cabinet is only part of it.

I used to think getting the bag I wanted would be the final satisfaction, but now I feel like the addictive part is not one specific bag. It’s the process of slowly collecting your own taste over time.

For those who have been collecting for a while, do you enjoy the process more now, or did you eventually reach a point where you felt like you had enough?

Can You Tell Which One Is auth? A Hermès Detail Challenge

I wanted to make a little guessing challenge.

The two pieces look very similar at first glance, but when you look closer, there are many small details that are easy to miss.

Take a look at the leather texture, stitching, hardware finishing, engraving, and overall shape.

Before checking the comments, make your guess:

Which one do you think is authentic — the left one or the right one?

What detail helped you make your decision?

My wallet only allows one — left or right?

I’m stuck between these two and honestly can’t make up my mind.

The caramel one on the left feels warmer and catches my eye first.
The grey-brown one on the right seems quieter, but probably easier to carry often.

Part of me wants the left, but the practical side of me keeps looking at the right.

I’m honestly having a hard time choosing. Could you help me decide which one feels better for everyday use?

Is my cat judging my bag?

I was trying to take a nice photo of this bag.

Then my cat came over, sat next to it, and made this face.

I don’t know if he’s yawning, laughing, or openly judging my taste.

The bag is serious, the cat is not.

My husband says this Hermes platypus looks like a little mouse

I showed this little guy to my husband today, and he immediately asked, “What is that strange little thing?”

When I told him it was from Hermes, he laughed and said it looked more like a chubby mouse than a platypus.

I think the silly beak and tiny blue feet are adorable. What do you see—a platypus or a mouse?

After two Birkins, I somehow ended up falling for the Verrou

After adding two Birkins to my collection, I decided it was time to give my wallet a break. So I started looking for other styles that were worth buying without any prespend.

I know the Lindy is popular, but it has never really suited my taste. It always feels a little like carrying a small travel bag. I prefer bags with a clean, boxy shape and sharper lines.

Then I came across the Verrou and was immediately drawn to its unusual front closure. The Gold shade with silver hardware is very easy on the eyes, and the structured shape is exactly what I like. At first, I only considered it as a “wallet recovery” option, but after receiving it, I realized it doesn’t feel like a substitute at all. It has a character of its own.

Now I’m curious: do you think the Verrou is underrated, or does the closure look a little inconvenient to use?

Same J5, but gold and silver hardware feel totally different

I didn’t expect the same J5 pink to feel this different.

On the B25 with gold hardware, the color feels warmer and richer. It has that bold, glossy look that immediately catches the eye.

But on the Mini Kelly with silver hardware, the same pink feels sharper and a little cooler. The smaller size also makes it feel more playful.

I thought I would clearly prefer one, but putting them together only made it harder to choose.

Same color, different size, different hardware, totally different mood.

Which one would you pick — the gold hardware B25 or the silver hardware Mini Kelly?

Purple Mini K II PSP — First Time Trying Lizard

Just received photos of this purple Mini K II. It’s my first time trying lizard leather, so the finer texture is new to me.

The purple looks richer than I expected, especially with the gold hardware. Overall it looks nice to me, but I’d love to know if anything stands out from the photos.

B30 Is Still My Favorite Travel Companion

I know a lot of people say B30 feels heavy or too big for everyday use.

But for me, it has always been one of the best travel bags. It holds so much, looks put together, and somehow makes the whole airport outfit feel more complete.

After carrying it through so many trips, I feel like its biggest charm is simple: it can actually fit my life.

I tried making a tiny bag with Perler beads

I tried making a tiny bag-shaped piece with Perler beads.

This was just a test version, but it still used way more beads than I expected. By the time I finished placing everything, my eyes were honestly tired.

The hardest part was the corners. I tried using a small tool to heat and press the edges, and the right angle actually came out cleaner than I thought.

I did press a little too hard in one spot, so it’s not perfect.

But for a first test, I’m still pretty happy with it.

Has anyone else tried a larger Perler bead project before?

Review — Rose Pink H Shoulder Bag for My Best Friend

This bag is actually a gift for my best friend.

She has wanted this kind of rose pink for a long time. Whenever she saw a similar shade, she would always say it felt like “her color,” so when I saw this one, my first thought was that it would suit her perfectly.

I wanted to choose something a little special, but still easy enough for daily wear. This pink is bright and lively, but not childish. It has a cheerful, feminine feel with a bit of confidence to it.

The color is definitely what attracted me the most. In person, it looks even fresher than in the photos. I can already imagine her wearing it with simple outfits, jeans, or a little dress.

The leather feels soft to the touch, but the bag still holds its shape well. The side profile looks clean, the stitching and edges are neat, and the strap also feels nicely finished. Overall, it gives a light and easy-to-carry feeling.

The process with BoBo went smoothly. Communication was easy, and I really appreciated that it arrived before I needed it this week. The timing worked out perfectly.

Timeline

6/10: Discussed the details
6/ 20: Received preview photos and approved them
7/5: Received the delivery update
7/11: The bag arrived

Overall, I’m very happy with how it turned out. And now I’m just excited to see her reaction when she opens it.

Is purple really that hard to like?

I actually really like this shade of purple — it feels quite clean and full in person.

But almost everyone around me had a different reaction, saying it’s not an easy color to wear or appreciate.

Now I’m a bit stuck between keeping it for myself or not, because I do enjoy it, just not sure how it reads outside.

Has anyone here actually worn this kind of purple regularly? Curious how it works in real life.

Kiwi green is actually kind of addictive

This shade is way brighter than what I usually go for.

It almost feels like it shouldn’t work in real life, but somehow it does.

Once you get used to it, normal colors start to feel a bit too quiet in comparison.

I didn’t think I’d be into this kind of neon-leaning green, but here we are.
