UPDATE: Garett Temple is joining Dusty May's coaching staff in Dallas, Dan Eveloff of @PrioritySports confirms to @TheSteinLine.

After a 16-year playing career, Temple has accepted May's pitch to move into coaching on a staff that also features ex-Pelicans coach Willie Green.

Also: @TheSteinLine has learned that new Mavericks coach Dusty May is also pursuing Garrett Temple for a spot on his first NBA coaching staff in the event that 16-year NBA veteran — who spent the past three seasons as a Toronto Raptor — elects to move into coaching.g

The Mavericks are expected to offer Tarık Biberovic a “significant contract” to bring him to the NBA, per @bugrauzar24.

The Mavs acquired Biberovic’s rights in the Santi Aldama trade yesterday.
