High gain for the Rode NT1

I just bought a 5th-generation Rode NT1. Is it normal that when I use it with the Audient ID14, I have to turn the knob to the 3 o'clock position to get the sound right? I turned on the “+48V” power, but I only took a photo after I finished recording and turned the switch off.

P.S.: The sound is fine at this gain setting—the volume is just right, there’s no noise—but it bothers me that I have to turn the knob on this condenser mic almost as far as I did on my old SM58 (on which everything was fine even when I turned the knob all the way up).

Translated using DEEPL; I hope everything is translated correctly
