What happen if Oku Hiroya choose again the character designer and animation director from the old Gantz series Naoyuki Onda with a new staff , for leading the new remake of Gantz? .
Naoyuki Onda are responsible to make the initial drafts for the adaptation of Gantz in 2004, but the time and bugdet was very limited at that time since the technology wanst enough for some scenes in comparisson with today, at the same time he was working with the trilogy of Gundam Zeta a new translation. Besides for 2017 he returns for making the character designs for Inuyashiki anime which he did an splendid work.
And his recent work with Mobil Suit Gundam hathaway Sorcery of Circe , gives an idea of how the characters could be displayed even with the 3DCGI and the use of Unreal Engine for the mecha battle scenes translated into the Gantz animation.
Since Naoyuki Onda and Oku hiroya resembles in each other with his beautiful style of drawing i always thought that its important this conditional to have him for making the characters designs for the future Gantz anime adaptation.
