Is it to show that Katastrophe is getting closer ? That Gantz starts to « glitch » ?

I am very grateful and super hyped to have made the dive and was able to get all the omnibuses. They came Friday. I have not re-read the series in a long time, and I'll be honest my first time, was over time and in chunks, through online translations, I am not sure which sites they were but thankful. I have not read G yet, and didn't know it had an onimbus. I still need to catch up one E, minus and read Argentina. I am behind

But I first discovered the series way back when I found the anime series online somewhere and had to buy the DVDs. I bought them as they were releasing from my closest Suncoast in the mall. Some animes, can't recall if this one, was you had to ask em to order it lol. I had never seen such wild fight scenes and choreography really in anime yet. And what a Sci-fi concept! I discovered the manga after I watched the anime series.

Also Rip Slyme who do the anime's intro song (which slaps like crazy) is such a great band. Get into their stuff.

Was at HPB the other day and paid $25 for a copy of Gantz Volume 1 First Print. Didn't mind since it was in great condition and was a first print but then realize that there's a red marking at the bottom. Usually I wouldn't mind since it is at a discounted book store but since I paid resell value, I am conflicted 🫠 Would you guys keep or return? help.

Here's the scenario:

All the Gantz teams around the world are notified of the oncoming arrival of hive fleet Behemoth (the one in the pic) to the Earth, they have the same amount of time to prepare as they did with the Alien giants and free access to any of the Weapons or vehicles, alongside the help of the Earth's military forces for backup

I hope the image quality is okay btw, this is the first time I've drawn anything based on Gantz. It was really fun and interesting, although I know there's another great artist who's done their own version of Gantz in Argentina. I wanted to try my own! I'd appreciate any support comments, and maaaaybe I'd like to turn this into a manga/comic... we'll see!

(If the alien's design seems particularly obscene, it's because the characteristics of the mythological creature Kurupi are similar btw lol )

Omg I feel like that homeless cat eating food for the first time all the things I have been reading or watching where ether slop or waiting for a new episode of JoJo part 7 or a new chapter of berserk

But good god have I feel into an amazing manga

I watched the anime it was fine I did enjoy it really caught me in the story then I started the manga holy shit I haven't had something good that reminds me of my good days with berserk it's scary gory real aliens conspiracy I just want to share

I feel it's to much having every chapter to end on a naked woman I get it he likes them big but it's too much 😭 I just seen a whole school class of students dead by a alien getting revenge then you flash me with tits

I am in volume 12 I pray everything next will make me go around recommending gantz and putting it on my top of all time
