Rivian Doesn’t Care How Much You Like Interior Buttons, Voice Control Is Better (CarScoops article)

I'm curious about people's thoughts on this. My perspective that the following statement completely misses the mark:

According to Rivian, “the only reason that drivers and consumers do not interact with the car through voice is that, to put it really bluntly, the technology has been broken,” up until this point.

Personally, that's not at all the only reason I don't interact with the car through voice; it's not even a primary reason. The main reason for me is that when I'm in the car I'm either listening to music (generally at fairly high volume), or I'm talking with other people. Both of those activities are interrupted if I have to interact with the car through voice.
