got adopted by a Conure, need advise

A conure arrived in our backyard a few days ago and started interacting with my 5-year-old, not scared at all. We knew it wasn't safe outside, so my wife got the bird to step onto her finger and brought it inside. It happily went into an empty birdcage we had in storage. It's extremely friendly and loves being around people, but unfortunately it also loves biting.

We're currently looking for its owner but no one has claimed it yet. In the meantime, I have a few questions:

  1. Any general advice or things I should know?
  2. How do I get it to stop biting? I want to let it fly around my office so it's not cooped up in the cage all day, but it keeps landing on my shoulder and biting my neck.
  3. what should/shouldn't i feed it
  4. how far can they fly? how far away from our house should i put the "found bird" posters
  5. Can you help identify what kind of conure it is and whether it's male or female?
