High Hold Pomade Not Holding Hair In-Place
I have wavy to curly hair, and after using a curling cream, I want to make my hair more stiff so the wind doesn't make it frizz excessively.
I recently got the Layrite high shine high hold pomade (https://layrite.com/products/superhold-pomade?srsltid=AfmBOoraE3NoKiheMYdI6zHcd0EG4DAQWSLvHDucPkKJ-T7MA2wsKfxF) and the Ruezel blue pomade (https://www.reuzel.com/products/blue-pomade-strong-hold-high-shine?srsltid=AfmBOoqSNeV-4uCKKBy-3XF5x12cvsjlJx_Af8_wdquU56_NDAZ-0G6H).
I tried both by applying them to my hair after the shower, but I'm having a hard time getting my hair to hold nicely. After running my fingers through my hair a few times, it becomes the same way as when I do not apply any product.
Any tips/guidelines for applying pomade properly that are specific to my hair type?
