dualboot on a single ssd linux/windows
Hey everyone,
I need to set up a dual boot on a single NVMe SSD. I’m forced to keep Windows around for Autodesk and Adobe CC, but I want to use Linux as my main daily driver cause i had enough of windows and copilot.
I know that the rule is to use two disks for the dual boot, but in my laptop there's only one SSD slot. I read that you can use Autodesk Fusion on Linux, but it has many issues.
How do I stop Windows updates from randomly nuking GRUB? Any specific partitioning advice for a single drive setup to keep things stable, and in the process of setting this thing up, could I brick my PC?
The Distro: I also game and tinker around quite a bit on this machine, mainly modded Minecraft and some other things. given this, which distro would you recommend between Fedora, Mint, and Nobara?
Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!
