So I(20M) like this girl (19F) and she said she likes me. For story and privacy purposes we'll call her Daisy. Basically we'll text and share videos over social media. All saying that we both really like each other and date ideas. And we don't get to see each other often.
The last time we saw each other we hugged and held hands. And hung out together. We had a misunderstanding due to so other friend but we worked it out.
The thing that's confusing me is I got to go hang out with her and her friends. It was at a fair, and it seemed to be going well. At first I tried to hold her hand, I brushed mine against hers but she pulled away. And I thought it was a pda thing. So I thought maybe later we could hang just us.
Daisy is pretty shy but she was talking calmly around her friends and me. So I thought she was comfortable with me. Anyways later I tried making another move, something she communicated she likes. I tried to brush her hair away from her face and and she pulled away from me. This time we weren't in public. In daisys garage.
And shes communicated that she likes physical touch as one of her love languages. I tried talking to her but she didn't say much(this was still while we were in her garage).
While we were sitting across from each other she texted me that she was nervous because of me. And that she was scared. I texted back that I was gonna let her take the reins on the relationship, if she wanted to hold hands or kiss etc she would have to make the move. I was getting confused of what she wanted and when. She then asked what do you mean and I tried explaining how I was feeling.
Though she kept saying she was scared we continued to hang out until I got picked up and we watched silly videos.
I get physical touch in a new relationship is kind of scary but we had already snuggled and hugged and held hands. I'm willing to be patient but now I'm confused.
She'll send me all these videos and texts of what she wants but then pulls away
Anyone know what I should do?
