What if our world is a pre‑written novel, and even counter‑evidence was written in advance?

I have a thought that keeps lingering in my mind.

Suppose everything in our world is a pre‑written story made by a novelist.

Imagine a protagonist writes a novel. Inside that novel, the character slowly realises that every moment of his life was already written in advance.

All of his feelings, struggles, doubts and attempts to break free are not his own spontaneous choices — they are just sentences planned by the author.

At the end of that inner story, the character asks:

"If my whole life is written by a novelist, then who is writing the novelist that created me? Is the author of my world also just a character inside another book?"

Then the writer in our world, who created this protagonist, suddenly wonders:

What if I am also a character in someone else’s novel? Every thought I have right now, every word I type, including this very doubt, might already be predetermined text on a page.

This idea feels contradictory to me.

I do not truly believe it is true. But I have no solid evidence to disprove it.

And here lies the strangest part: even if I found some evidence to argue against this theory, could that evidence itself also be carefully arranged by the same novelist?

So I want to ask you all: is there any way for a person trapped inside the story to prove that the world is not pre‑written?
