I'm sort of confused. I feel like the whole thing with Carlos murdering Alejandro was just because they needed like a plot for season eight, because it makes no sense to me. I feel like there was no reason to do all that with the covering up. Like, they could have just reported it he literally attacked her. They could have told the police he tried to attack Gabby, so Carlos hit him with the lamp, candlestick, whatever it was, and he died. It might’ve been a little bit difficult because I guess she never reported him before, so it might be hard to prove, but I feel like covering it up and burying him made it much worse than it needed to be. Like, they could have done the same thing they did with Katherine and say he attacked her, and she was defending herself. Even if he didn't have a weapon on him, isn't that still some sort of like, self-defense? He was attacking her, no?

And I barely started, and Susan is already annoying me and it’s looking like I’m about to skip all her scenes. I've started to like her, she did piss me off sometimes. I feel like she's a very male-centered character and her storylines are kind of boring and I don't really care for them. But I have started to like her. But all that has gone out the window because, what do you mean, you literally helped Katherine cover the murder of her abusive ex-husband, but you can't help Gabby try to cover this murder of her stepfather who literally sexually assualted her and tried to do it AGAIN? I'm confused and I think she's a terrible friend. One of your best friend's rapist just tried to attack her, but you're going, oh woe is me, he's still human, he still had family, yes he’s a bad person but he didn’t deserve it, yada yada yada. And you can't do this. Or it's too much for her or whatever. Like, I don't know how to explain it but I don't like how she’s sort of making it about her if that makes sense and she's acting like she's above this, like she hasn't done other things. I can already tell she's gonna annoy me in this season. Yes, this whole plot thing is pointless, but you could at least be a good friend, let's not act like we haven't done something like this before.
