One day old batch of CP soap - no zap

I'm new at this, and I've made exactly two batches so far. My first was on 5/1, and my second was yesterday. The first batch should still take a few weeks before it's ready, but I thought I should zap test it just for the experience. I read up on the process for the billionth time. I rewatched a couple videos, and I gave it a shot. Wet my finger, wipe it along one of the 3-week -old bars, and gently touch it to my tongue - nothing.

I thought maybe I needed more, so I wet the bar a bit, ran my finger in a circle to make sure I was getting a good bit of soap. I tested again and still nothing. So then I chipped the tiniest bit of soap off and put it straight on my tongue. Nothing. I mean, it tastes like soap, but that's it.

Well, maybe these cured fast for some reason. So I decided to be brave an test one of the new bars that I made yesterday. That will let me know how this goes, right? Did tests one and two as described above and no zaps. I stopped short of putting an actual chip of soap on my tongue this time.

I'm not sure what's going on. I used a recipe from a soaping website that uses a 35.5% lye concentration for 700g of oils and butter. Both my oil and lye solutions were between 105-108 F (40.5-42 C) for the two different batches I made, so I don't think it was anywhere near the heat of an HP soap which cures pretty much immediately. Everything set up nicely and firmly, so I don't think it's an issue with the lye. The only real hiccup I had when making both batches is that I'm not able to really identify trace levels yet, and I ended up at heavy trace both times before pouring. I cannot imagine what that could have to do with this, but that's the only thing that was "off."

I don't get it. Why no zap? I"m worried that when I actually go to use batch one in two to three weeks, I'll just be scrubbing myself with hardened butter and oil bars.

Just learn how to become The Smith. Get a handy shimmery worm guy to imbue it, swing by and pick up your ol' pal Bing Bong, snag Dolly's Mirror, check out your ReflectionnoitcelfeR, and Bob's your uncle. You got a 370 damage sovereign blade turn one. Good enough for most things, but add a bit of vulnerable (say, a bag of marbles or so), and you've got a stew going.
