Seller provided gibberish return address. Asked ebay to step in and they did nothing- what now?
I recently bought some cards that turned out to be fraudulent, upon my attempt to return them i realize the seller has their address set as-
shantoushiningzhekemaoyiyouxiangongsi null
liangyingzhenhefengfengxingqushiyixiang7hao
liangyingzhenhefengfengxingqushiyixiang7hao
shantoushichaonanqu, Guangdong 515000
shantoushichaonanqu, Guangdong 515000
Maybe if i understood chinese this could be reworked into a real address? but i do not and cannot seem to. I’ve contacted ebay and the seller about this- and the seller says despite being responsible for shipping, they will not make the label unless i pay for it but they will pay me back.
I have reported that to ebay, as i’m pretty sure that’s against TOS, but have not been able to get through to ebay.
I guess the biggest issue i’m having right now is i have no idea how to actually get ebay to support me on this, it’s like their website and support system is engineered to be unhelpful and hard to use.
I even asked ebay to step in but whatever handled my case just saw the gibberish address and thought it was real.
