Save my white pines!
I planted a few of these white pines a few weeks ago. About 4 feet tall. I bought them in buckets from an auction and they were very healthy appearing when I bought them.
-Soil has decent drainage and is just regular lawn
-Numerous white pines in my area and neighbors lawns that look great
-Have had a fair amount of rain and I’ve given them a shower during drier stretches
-Root flair is exposed (top couple roots just above soil at the base (I know it doesn’t really look like it in the pictures but it 100% is)
The needles look a little sad and droopy, yellowing on the tips. The trees looked much happier when I planted them.
Is there anything I can do to save these trees?
