The context is that I accidentally used up all five giant souls, thinking I had beaten Vendrick. Well, as it turns out, I hadn't. So, I figured I'd use the bonfire ascetic and collect the giant souls from the memories again... which of course wasn't possible. So I did what any sane man would do and decided to kill the Ancient Dragon 5 times over for the 5 souls. Of course, the run back isn't the best, but I managed to dodge everything there and head straight in every time I died. The boss itself wasn't insanely hard, other than the fact that if you get hit once, you'd die. My eyes hurt.
