I see hate for Cody James a lot but these pythons have been great to me.

Took my rain guards off both sides because I'm having work done on my driver side doors. I'm not worried about the driver side because both doors are getting repainted. This is the passenger side, and I got all the adhesive off that I could. The rest is this really hard line where it may have taken the clear coat off. I guess I'm wondering if it's possible to remove this? I tried the rubber wheel, goo-gone gel for automotive. It catches my nail if I run it along it too. If it took the clear coat off, then I guess I can just toss fixing that into the deal with the driver side.

Also if I'm in the wrong place can someone point me in the right direction?
