GKS-U Help: Mother deceased, Father estranged/unreachable. How do I handle proof of father’s citizenship?

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to apply for the GKS Undergraduate (GKS-U) scholarship from India via the Embassy Track. I am planning to major in Artificial Intelligence.I'm facing a really difficult situation regarding the mandatory "Proof of Parents' Citizenship" documents and could use some advice from past scholars or anyone who has dealt with complex family documentation.
Tragically, my mother passed away. I have her official government-issued Death Certificate, which I plan to get fully Apostilled.
My parents were never legally divorced, but my father does not live with me. I have had no contact or communication with him for a long time. Because of this, it is physically and practically impossible for me to get a copy of his passport, ID, or any citizenship documents.
Will NIIED or the Korean Embassy disqualify my application if my father's citizenship documents are completely missing, even if I provide my birth certificate and my mother’s death certificate.
I'm navigating this entire application process completely on my own, so any guidance, official NIIED clauses, or personal experiences would mean the world to me. Thank you so much.
