What if Lucy joined Ben and Rook (you know, they'd form a trio)? How would that play out?

Let's say you're one of the writers of Ben 10 Omniverse, and besides Rook, you decide to add someone else to form a trio, and you suggest Lucy.

This is for those who wanted to see more of Lucy and those who wanted a trio in Omniverse.

How would seasons 1 through 8 develop?

All those episodes before the invasion, while good, did serve to humanize the Fire Nation and develop the characters, the Avatar team, but they were a waste of time just to lengthen the plot.

Now, I can forgive the episodes "The Awakening," "The Headband," "The Beach," and "The Avatar and the Fire Lord," and the episodes "The Puppet Master" and "Nightmares and Daydreams" are somewhat decent, but the others before the invasion aren't bad, but they don't appeal to me.

With the few episodes where we saw Zuko as part of the group, I didn't really feel like he was part of the team. I felt like he was an extra, a mere ally, not a member.

After that, we had the opportunity to see Aang's firebending training after the episode "The Firebending Masters," but they didn't speedrun it (they skipped it like garbage). Although his fire on the comet was great, I admit, what happened left me unsatisfied. I felt like, "That's it." If I had seen the training, I could have appreciated it because of what we saw of his hard work and dedication, but since it was all off-screen, well, no. And even though we saw Zuko teaching him how to redirect lightning, meh, it doesn't make up for the off-screen training.

Seriously, even the episode from Book 1, "The Deserter," where Jeong Jeong appears and teaches Aang, conveyed so much more to me than the training we didn't see in Book 3. And yes, I know it went wrong and all, but hey, it really resonated with me and was more emotional, even though it was just one episode. I repeat, it's not that I didn't like the rainbow fire spectacle in "The Firebending Masters"—I do like it—but after the episode, while Zuko's was off-screen, it didn't resonate with me at all. And again, even though we saw him teach her to deflect lightning, it's not enough to compensate for the unseen (speedrun) training.

And before you mention the roar that scared Momo in the first part of the comet in "Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King," I considered it meh. Iroh's roar/fire breath in the episode "Crossroads of Destiny" resonated with me more, and I know it would be unfair to compare it to Aang's since Iroh is a master and Aang isn't, but that's what I said.

Let's pretend Ash wasn't reset

Alright, these are the Pokémon:

Pikachu: Obviously

Krookodile: The MVP of this team. I would catch it when it was still a Sandile. Here, it would be the ace, a key piece of Ash's team.

Serperio: We're going to erase any possibility of it learning Attract.

Unfezant: But with better performance.

Scolipede: Ash catches Venipide and evolves it into Scolipede during the journey.

Darmanitan: Because it's already tiresome having a Fire starter with the same story, and I think this Pokémon would suit Ash well.

The backup Pokémon:

Oshawott: Yes, it's a backup. Don't misunderstand; it's the second Pokémon Ash catches after Pidove. But you might wonder why it's a backup: because people would complain that it shouldn't evolve since it's the comic relief, its charisma... And that's why, and since it never caught my attention, I'm condemning it to being a spare.

Scraggy: Honestly, I don't have a problem with this one, so it's up to you guys to decide whether it evolves or not.
