ISO Iron Maiden Recommendations
Looking for Iron Maiden fans to point me in the right direction:
Post picture is Where the Void Rose - The Necromancers. One of my favorite albums in recent years that I hear often compared to a lot of Iron Maiden.
Where I need your assistance, is whenever I've tried getting into Iron Maiden, their stuff just doesn't hook me like it does everyone else. I can enjoy some of their bigger hits, but not in a way that makes me want to put them on. Can you recommend me your favorite album of theirs that captures the reason why these albums may be compared?
I listen to a pretty wide variety of metal, but mainly doom/sludge/stoner and progressive. Some of my other favorite albums (which may not be much help) would be Meantime- Helmet, EDM- Candlemass, PetroDragonic...- King Gizz, Blood Lust- Uncle Acid, Blood Mountain - Mastodon, and Scenes from Hell -Sigh.
