Advice and help with stutter blocks

Hi everyone. I’m a 25m and I’ve had a stutter my whole life. It’s something I was born with, and it has affected me for as long as I can remember. My biggest issue is stutter blocks, and I’d really appreciate advice from others who deal with the same thing.

Some techniques I’ve used are filler words before saying a word I know I’m going to block on. I’ve also been practicing my breathing, because I tend to breathe through my chest instead of my stomach. I notice I tense up a lot when speaking and need to relax more. That’s easier with friends and family, but with strangers it’s much harder.

Right now I’m working on two methods. Extending the first sound of a word I feel a block coming on, like: “Hhhhhhead hurts.”

The secound one is pronouncing words more smoothly and gently instead of abruptly forcing my mouth or throat open.

If anyone has experience with blocks specifically, I’d love to hear what helped you.

Also, thanks in advance for reading and posting on this forum. I'm sure we all have had countless bad experiences with stuttering and can feel very alone in this disability. It's great to find some solace in all you fighters out there, battling this every day ❤️

I’m looking for a string library that can capture the vibe of 1970s Italian soundtracks, like Piero Piccioni or Alessandro Alessandroni. I mostly produce Jazz Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul, so I need strings that feel intimate and dusty rather than massive and cinematic.

I've been looking at Spitfire Chamber Strings Essentials and Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings, but there are so many options that it's getting overwhelming. Does anyone have experience using these for a vintage sound, or are there better alternatives for that "sampled from vinyl" feel?
