Dumb question but I can’t help but feel like I’m scaring fish before I even have a chance to cast. I’m still pretty new to this whole thing.

When you guys are wading a river or stream are you staying in the river the whole time or fishing a hole then getting out and walking the bank until you find a new hole? Also if there is no opportunity to get out and walking the bank how are you wading the river in a way that doesn’t spook the fish?

I often find myself in a situation where the stream is overgrown so I have to wade the entire time. Based off the lack of fish I catch I can’t help but wonder if I’m shutting fish off before I even have a chance.

Any tips are appreciated!
