BlueCruise question
I’ve asked this before but now with more time it still doesn’t make sense. I bought a new 2025 Aviator Reserve II in Jan of this year (was a demo). BlueCruise turns on seemingly randomly on the highway when in cruise control. Meaning, I drive the same 40min route three times a week and it rarely comes on. There doesn’t seem to be any correlation between traffic patterns or weather. And I say it only comes on about 10% of the time I’m in cruise control. Why? I have it free through Jan 1, 2030 so I’ve got it for a long time. But why would some purchase it if it’s that “unreliable?” And I know it’s not supposed to come on each time you are in cruise control, and that it actively reads the environment around you for when to turn it on, but just seems like in my case pretty premature to bring something to market when it’s used that little. When it turns on I’m surprised and had forgotten I even had it!
