Welcome chimes sounding 8-bit
2021 Lincoln Aviator - sometimes when I start my car, the welcome chimes default to an 8-bit sound. All the subsequent warnings are also in 8bit too.
Contemplating a battery change, as its original.

Hi all, Ive only purchased GMs and Mercedes for my limo fleet. Im now looking at purchasing a black label Navigator L due to the employee pricing discount. The dealer is telling me that "employee pricing" is non negotiable. I just assumed its a now lower msrp, and I can negotiate off of that. My sales person says no, its not possible. Does someone know if it is? Ive only tried one dealer.
So I’ve been looking for a cheap daily that I can use to go to work I do have a Taurus sho I know these things are similar but is the parts much more expensive? And also the one I’m thinking of it has 172000km (106000) miles for about 6200usd. I took it to ppi it dint had much issues just these
-engine valve seepage
-timing seepage and transmission oil pan/drain seepage
-the axle for tire and that’s pretty much all the issues are these expensive to fix.and not to mention the car has 37 agency dealership service records should I take the risk body wise the car has some filler on two fenders and bumpers painted that’s it thanks in advance!!!
Hello Lincoln subreddit. With these gas prices, I wanted to pick up a hybrid. Ended up with this 2019 MKZ Hybrid with 117k miles for $13k. Read a lot of good things about these cars, and it’s a real smooth driver so far. Hoping it’s reliable for many years to come. I plan on getting 15% tint all around soon to complete the look.
Any Hybrid MKZ owners have any tips or things I should know about? Minor or major repairs to look out for? Thanks!
Just bought a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve from the dealer with 75k miles and within a week the check engine light came on. They set me up with a complimentary loaner — a 2026 Lincoln Corsair with only 300 miles on it.
Honestly didn’t expect to be impressed but the interior is absolutely beautiful. The seats, the trim, everything is really well done.
That said, I still prefer my Nautilus. The Corsair feels smaller and the loaner I was given doesn’t have a moonroof. A couple of other things that threw me off — when I lock it the side mirrors don’t automatically fold in, and all the AC controls are fully in-screen which is a learning curve if you’re not super tech savvy.
Still a gorgeous car though. Just wanted to share with fellow Lincoln fans! 🤍
debating on which car to buy? i know the camry will last forever and be super reliable. but i also know my payment will be $500+ a month so i really want to love what i have. i do plan on keeping this car 5+ years and making it my daily driver until i can purchase a 2nd luxury car like a benz or range rover. so this is going to be my reliable daily driver. do you think the corsair will be too glitchy and give me issues? i’ve been seeing some people complain about small issues and idk if i want to go with the safe option of a camry or the luxury option and take a risk.
Bought a 2018 MKX, low miles, kept beautifully, but the ride doesn’t feel like Lincoln’s from the past that I’ve ridden in. I really feel the road. Anything I can do (tires, etc) to get more of that cloud like feeling back?
I test-drove this car recently and it's a nice car, but I was underwhelmed by the lack of storage space in the center console. I was hoping it wouldn't be too small since I'm used to an F150. The trunk did seem a little on the small side for a car this size. I did like that both back seats can fold down, but the vertical height of the trunk seemed a little low. I also noticed a water stain in the rear headliner. I can only assume there must be water leakage issues with the sunroof when going through car washes or rain. Has anyone experienced leakage with their sunroof? I really want to like this car because of the price range, but I don't want buyer's remorse.
Hi everyone! I’m considering a Lincoln Corsair, most likely a 2023 or 2024 Grand Touring plug-in hybrid, and I’d love to hear from current or previous owners. I found a nice used one with the 302a package with only 15k miles. Looks great and was a lease. I may go look at it next weekend to test drive.
I’m coming from a high-mileage 2017 Ford Explorer Limited, so I know the Corsair will be smaller, but I’m drawn to the comfort, fuel economy, features, and more manageable size of the Corsair.
A few things I’m curious about:
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who moved from a Ford Explorer, Edge, or similar SUV into a Corsair.
I'm looking for a newer vehicle while my Ford Explorer still has some trade-in value and before the ticking time bomb that is the internal water pump blows up on me. I can do general maintenance on my car but I have past injuries that make doing anything more complicated very hard for me. Plus parts for the Explorer are just so darn heavy. I would like something smaller just to have an easier time working on it.
Thanks for any replies! Much appreciated.
EDIT:
Regarding the recall on this vehicle. I looked into it in depth. The recall started because two Ford Kugas in the EU caught fire. Kugas are the EU version of the Escape. Only 7k Corsairs are involved in the US only and Ford estimates only 1% are actually affected. So, there are 70+ Corsairs with potentially malfunctioning batteries out of 7k. There have been zero reported instances of any Corsair catching fire in the United States as of 2/19/2026. There are actually more Ford Escapes in the US affected than Corsairs, about 17k+. And again, only 1% of those may actually have the bad battery. So thats 170.
If this were a serious high-risk issue causing potential life-threatening injuries the NHTSA report would have stated to Do Not Drive this vehicle and to not park it outside. No such warnings are on the recall report.
So, while this is a serious issue, the likelyhood of it happening is very low. Hence the precautions issued by Ford. So, I'm not worried about it too much.

I tried to find my answer in the configurator on the Lincoln website, but unfortunately could not find it there. Maybe somebody can help me here?
Are the massage front seats included in the base trim already? Or is it an extra option or package that I need to select?
Im looking for a 3rd row suv and im looking at this CARFAX Vehicle History Report: 2021 LINCOLN AVIATOR RESERVE https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Report.cfx?partner=CVN\_0&vin=5LM5J7XC9MGL06535.
Consistent oil changes and no major repairs or anything concerning from what i see.
Is it risky to buy at this milage? I go on drives with my fanily from nyc to florida every year and want to make sure we wouldn't be dealing with major problems.
I dont know anythinf about these cars. The main car im looking at is the volskwagen atlas but just dont like how weak the engine is and its reliability isnt great.
What can I expect from 62k miles to 100k in terms of repairs or maintaining?
I made the mistake of bringing the wife & left in a fully loaded Aviator Reserve 🤪🫣
I owned this 1990 Lincoln Town Car between 1997-2001. Named her Valentina 🤣. I’m a veteran when it comes to this Lincoln thing. I was 20 when I bought her and you couldn’t tell me a single thing!
Our 2025 Nautilus has this intermittant problem. We had it in the dealer twice and they cannot find it. This is due to the problem not happening when they have the car. We picked the car up yesterday and it happened again this morning. Anyone else have this problem?
We traded our 2011 Kona Blue Limited Flex for the 25 Nautilus. The b&w Flex came along just before the end of life for the Flex. They stopped making them in 2019. The plan was to buy a white w/ black Edge since we no longer needed the 3rd row but Ford stopped making the Edge for the US in 2024. So happy to have the Nautilus instead.
I love my Town Car, but she is definitely our third/auxiliary vehicle. She has been parked in the garage since March. I just brought her out quick this morning to get the fluids moving and to wash the garage dust off. I need to plan a roadtrip soon!
