Hey guys, new 2025 ST owner here. Bought mine a year used. Found out it has an aftermarket intercooler. Sounds good, except that I am like 99% the Active Grill Shutter has been removed and tossed in the bin.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Essentially what I am looking to figure out is if I just need to buy and reinstall the entire AGS to get my CEL to clear.

Its a 2025 Explorer ST. From what I read on FB, this year has a hard CEL that just wont go away without putting the actual system back in.

Any thoughts, advice, or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Hello everyone, the day has finally come. I sold my MKZ. Its been fun. I enjoyed all the car for what it is. I hope someone else gets as much pleasure as I did out of it. It was the right car for the last 4 years but now I want something a bit bigger and a little more sports.

The Car
2018 Lincoln MKZ Reserve 3.0t AWD w/ Cold Weather and Technology Packages. Black exterior, tan interior. 66k ODO.

The Replacement
2025 Explorer ST. Vapor blue. The colors were the only real option this specific year. Same engines, just on a newer and different platform. The 2025+ redesigned interior made this a viable option. The features are honestly great.

Its been fun seeing seeing the communities vehicles and posts. I tried to help when I could. Maybe one day I will return with another Lincoln, it has changed my mind about American cars!
