[Thank You] Midweek thanks

u/JDoodle7 - Thank you for the pretty flower card with the chatty note. Really enjoyed reading your letter.

u/random_avocado - thank you for the super cute postcard! Love the scene of the puppies enjoying a summer evening by the shore.

u/Credo99 - thank you for the flower card for the RAOC Meta Challenge - Flowers and spring. I enjoyed reading about your future garden. I have a tiny garden, but everything I plant has a very strong will to live, so it doesn't require a lot of care (other than occasional watering and cutting back if things get a bit wild).

[Thank You] thanks for the positive vibes

I will just say my work has been taxing/draining lately, but the cards from you all in my mailbox refresh me and give me the energy to keep going. Thank you so much.

u/Sustainstainsus - Thank you so much for adorable bunny & cherry blossom card - the bright color and the sparkle bring me joy. I love how you used the flowery stamps as well. Hope you are enjoying spring. 🌸

u/SpeechlessAgnes06 - Thank you so much for the card, stickers, and photo of your cat (who is both regal and a cutie-pie). If we were able to swap places (and bring the cats) my cats would LOVE it, perfect temperature for them, LOL. I generally don't mind the warmer temps, humidity tends to wipe me out (it does get humid here in the summers). It was in the 30s (C) here yesterday and I went out to warm my bones, but we are getting storms this week and it will go back down to around 14 (C). So it will be cool for a few days and then the temperatures will shoot up again (and then go back down, and then up, it is a weather roller coaster 🎢

u/Snootsbooper - thank you for the TWO (!) "black cats destroying classic paintings" cards. They do make me smile. I am thinking of getting small frames so I can hang them up near my large print of a black cat destroying a fruit arrangement. 🐈‍⬛

u/BubblySunflowers - thank you for the super-cute RAOC Meta Challenge "Flowers and Springtime" card. I hope you get to plant your garden. We have a tiny patch of garden out front, and I have crammed it as full as possible with a combo of herbs and flowers (we are not allowed to have bird feeders here, so I put in plants that make seeds that birds and other critters would like to eat - that is my small act of rebellion). 🌸🌻

u/Hoolu123 - Thank you for thinking of me on your journey and sending the chatty letter. I hope you enjoyed your trip. I encourage you to eat some pain au chocolat for me. ✈️🥐

Returned mail from Australia post but no reason provided

Back in December 2025, I sent someone in Australia a holiday card. This past Saturday I found it in my mailbox with a "return to sender" sticker on it from Australia post. I can see that the card was postmarked in the USA on Dec 1, 2025, and there is an Australia post postmark on the back from December 23 2025, but the front has another postmark from April 23, 2026. The Australia post "return to sender" sticker did not provide a reason. I don't want to dox anyone but it was sent to a po box. Does anyone know if this means it sat at the post office for 4 months and no one picked it up?

Unfortunately, my record keeping around the holidays was really sloppy, so I can't figure out the reddit name of the person I was sending to. ☹️ But if you were expecting a holiday card from me and didn't receive one - sorry!

[Thank You] u/bradshaw1992

u/Bradshaw1992 - Oh my golly gosh! Yesterday was ROUGH. I had a 12 hour work day with a lot of stress for reasons I cannot get into. After dinner I ran out to get the mail and there was your envelope. I opened it and was just gobsmacked. The card is so amazing! I was just admiring how pretty it was and how perfect for me it was (space and cat themed!) and then I realized it MOVES. You could have knocked me over with a feather. You are so talented to have put that all together. Your cat, Pumpkin (who is adorable) looks like she could be a sibling to my cat Birdie! Thank you for all the orange cat stickers and the bonus card. Thank you so much for this card, it really made my day on a day when I was feeling totally drained and energyless.

[Thank You] Thank you for happy mail

Had a rough week at work, but your cheerful and friendly cards and letters made my days bearable.

u/SneakerLambs - Thank you so much for the Michael Moorcock book cover postcard. It certainly is a creepy looking book cover (I still like it). Love how you decorated the card with stickers, too.

u/Able-Leek1505 - Thank you for the postcard from Prague while you were there for the World Championships. Amazing that more skaters are doing backflips now.

u/Snerdboff - Thank you for the Dorothy Cutter art card! I can't believe this weather either, hard to know if we are supposed to dress for winter or summer these days. 😄

u/Brittney827 - Thank you for the lovely letter on the Pochacco stationary! I appreciate you using that on your letter to me. Thank you for the really sweet Hello Kitty sticker as well.

u/eeyeit - thank you for the Star Wars postcard featuring the librarian Jocasta Nu. I agree with your opinion on the favorite/best movies in the SW franchise. 😄

Thank you for all the happy mail in my mailbox! Getting mail from y'all always makes my day better.

u/Passingavery - thanks for the cute Pusheen post card - love all the stickers you used.

u/YesImWorkingNow - thanks for the sunny San Diego postcard. Too cool that you got some new pen pals!

u/BubblySunflowers - thank you for the Lou Paper coffee card. I think my favorite teas are strong British tea (think Yorkshire tea), Lady Grey (and Earl Grey). I also like mint tea. This past winter I found a chocolate mint tea which was really good.

u/Melhen16 - thank you for the card you wrote while helping out with the Smoky Mountain Relay. I hope you had a fun time!

u/Chiquita61, u/WabiSabi_sf, u/LittleMermaidX, u/unseenbowl, u/capybaracrossing and one username I had trouble reading (its not you, its me), so I am pretty sure I got this wrong (if you recognize yourself, or mods if you recognize this please let me know) u/imreretutimemc153 - Thank you for the WestPex meetup card, I hope you all had a fantastic time.

u/rnwglx - thanks for the year of the horse maxicard and explaining what the seasons are like in Maylaysia. The card is wonderful (the cat riding the horse just makes me smile) and I appreciate learning more about other places in the world.

u/indiegoes - thank you so much for the otters card from your Match offer. I love that you even used an otter stamp. Fantastic! From what I have seen of otters they are the very busy pranksters of the animal world.

Hello friends. One of my kids took a photography class in the fall semester - their semester project was to build a collection of photos that documented "the journey" (what kind of journey left open to students' interpretation) and at the end of the semester they had a class show where they printed their photos, displayed them, and explained their journey.

After the course ended, all the photos came home, and my kid was going to throw them away, because the originals are all digital and they still have those. But I asked if I could make cards with the photos, and they said OK.

What you will get - a photo of my kid (from the back or side, wearing a rain slicker with the hood up (no face visible)) taken somewhere around where we live. In the card, I will explain the location of the photo. I should note my kid prefers taking the types of photos showing urban and nature intersecting, either nature taking over the urban, or the urban impact on nature, so these are not touristy photos. Some were taken in urban forest-y areas so those are more nature-y, but most are, well, more grubby.

If you are interested, please fill out my form. The only thing I ask is that if you recently participated in one of my offers is that you let someone else have a turn for this one. I have 16 cards, so the form will close after it reaches 16 entries. Thank you!

Hello Friends. Did you know that Godzilla turned 70 in 2024? To commemorate this event Toho Studios and some other sponsors commissioned artists around the world to contribute to "Godzilla the Art" exhibition which was held in Tokyo last year, and this summer itis travelling to Kobe. I have 12 postcards of various artworks featured in this exhibition that I would like to share with fans of kaiju/monster movies. If you are a fan of Godzilla, Gamera, or even Gorgo, please fill out my form here: https://form.jotform.com/261202862886058 The form will close after it collects 12 entries.

I have not been to this exhibit, just found a way to get some cards. 😄 I also don't know anything about the artist or the work depicted, other than it relates to Godzilla.

As Godzilla would say: "RAAEEEEEEEEEEEOOONK!!!!"

u/on1oman1ac - Thank you so much for the "Cats Domino" postcard, it really cracked me up (also kind of looks like one of my cats, if you take away the domino dots 🙂😸). Also appreciate the book recommendation, I am always on the lookout for a good book. Hope you have a fantastic day!
