So I have a question about people who have elfs/elves in their world or people that read works that have them in it.
What are some unique ways about why Dark Elfs/Elves have dark skin? Is it because they're just evil, do they go through some ritual to get dark skin, is an elf/elve who is born with dark skin rare, like I want to know how people write and read about that part of the lore for them.
Like for my lore on why my elfs/elves have dark skin is because they pray to their god to give them dark skin becuase humans hunt them down for their beauty and enslave them, pretty much the typical bad human thing to do to a non-human race. But the elfs/elves who turn into dark elfs/elves aren't shun by the other elfs/elves because they see them as survivals from human enslavement and takes great courge and determaintion to give up their own beauty.
