Tbh, this was one of the most beautiful time I spent in my life in past few years, I was lowkey soo much enjoying in these time (Gym, Movies, Cricket, COD, Friends and sab) that I wanted please Result aur thoda late aaye and mujhe thoda aur time mile ye sab experience krne ka… coz I knew I was going to be cooked in 2 day, coz I had an idea ki 518 pe shyd mera naa ho ( I was not ready to face reality)
Results came, I cried on that day
Mere Physics wale sir ne shaam hote hote call kra and said ki “tum offline naa hi jaao coz tumhe basics aate hai and mai online padha dunga zoom pe personally, Bio tum khud kr hi loge, mainly ques practical pe dhyan dena”
I had everything in my mind ki kaise drop year me excel krna hai, I knew it was going to be tough but kitna wo aage hi pata chala..

Iss time pe bhi bohottt uncertainty thi kya hoga kaise hoga, gave AYNR, Usme aache marks aaye toh thoda confidence aaya and with all the confidence I had, mai 3 May ko NEET dene gaya

Idk kitna aacha score hai, hope toh hai drop year successful rahe and mai finally college jaa pau but haa meri capability iss 2 kaudi ke exam ke liye itni hi thi. Waise toh kam chance hai naa ho but agar in case nai hua toh ain’t no way mai doosra drop seh paunga, I’ll move on with BDS coz ye year hi itna mushkil tha sambhalna, I’ve cried sooo many times sone se pehle ki bss ho jaaye iss saal.. nahi dekh sakta sab college me hai aur mai kuch nahi kr paa rha….
So, yeah kabhi time mile toh read krna 😇… warna mere liye toh yahan ye documented feelings hai, kya pata baad me kabhi 4-5 saal baad aau aur ye sab dekhke muskuraun ki kuch toh kia tha uss time pe, mehnat toh ki thi……
TL;DR:
Drop year started with me still mentally living in post-NEET freedom — gym, movies, cricket, COD, friends — almost wishing result thoda aur late aaye because deep down I knew 518 pe shayad nahi hoga. Result day pe roya. Then spent an entire year grinding mostly alone through Allen tests, online classes, endless mocks, late night coffees, breakdowns, self doubt, occasional cooking, energy drinks, and rare happy moments with friends who had already moved ahead in life.
Watched people around me get colleges while I stayed behind preparing again. End me NEET score 639/644 tak aa raha hai. Don’t know if it’s enough, but one thing I know for sure — I genuinely gave this year everything I had.
Maybe years later I’ll come back to this post and smile thinking, “haan, mushkil tha… but mehnat toh kari thi.” 🫠
