These look like shelf brackets, but the nubs with threads that stick out have me confused on how I would anchor them to a wall or shelf.

Was looking to make a frame of sorts for these, as i rent and cant anchor them to the wall (if i could even figure out how to do that).

Any insight would be appreciated. TYIA.
