Anyone else have issues with their doctor
I’m a trans guy (2 years on T) and I’ve had some dryness and other stuff, but I’m not gonna get personal. My doctor prescribed me some estradiol and not only took a month to get but it was the wrong form,I specifically asked for the cream and made it very VERY clear that I would not do inserts or anything like it,now I have 4 boxes of pills in long tubes that I will never use.
And now that I’ve finally got the cream I looked at the warning label. Sun sensitivity. My doctor never once mentioned that, and I practically live outside,I work in the sun,not everyone is a keyboard warrior.
So now I’m pissed that they not only wasted my time and charged my insurance for nothing, but I’m going to continue to be sick.
I might be being dramatic,oh well,it’s my care and I’m tired of feeling like shit 24/7. Medicine should not feel like torture.
Anyone else’s doctor fail to inform them of certain treatment types? And how do I prevent this in the future?
Edit: forgot to mention the cancer risk that was never discussed, which is a little frustrating given my family history of reproductive cancer, which they have access to
