Extremely itchy, comes and goes, leaves dry red patch after flare, hydrocortisone ineffective
This first randomly presented about 4 weeks ago. One night and day of itchiness and inflammation and then it settled into flat, red, dry patches. I was prescribed hydrocortisone which had no effect after 10 days of use. The dry red patches would flare up and subside with only a little itchiness. Yesterday it seemed to be healing until the night, when my whole neck became extremely itchy and irritated. I haven’t been able to pinpoint any factors like specific clothing, and I don’t think it’s product related because it’s localized only on my neck and I haven’t changed my routine; it also doesn’t seem to be related to laundry detergent.
