What to do when my supervisor [m71] think it’s funny when my coworker [m38]mocks me?
I’ve [f35] repeatedly told this specific coworker [m39] not to talk to me this way, he will mock what I say in a “special ed” voice. I do not talk this way. We get along well besides this, he does it to other people but I’ve told him it bothers me and asked to not speak to me that way. One morning I came in and he said it first thing in the morning in response to my hello. I literally started to cry. Then I told my supervisor [m71] why I was upset and he brushed it off stating that he is just being silly. Well this morning I did it to him just to be a jerk and he said he wasn’t going to talk to me like that anymore. Then this afternoon he did it in front of me to another coworker, while my supervisor laughed and stared at me. All my other coworkers laughed like they knew it upset me. I never see him crack a smile so for him to laugh I knew he just thinks it’s funny for him to make fun of me. Honestly feels like bullying at this point. It makes me mad because I feel my supervisor should be telling him to shut up and not talk that way to anyone at work. It’s rude and unprofessional.
