What has Laura Friedman done?

Serious question, as I'd really like to know. I'm just starting to do research for the CA district 30 election in November. I was intrigued by Joel Lava after the protests against Musk, Doge, and Ice over-reach he had organized. So I checked out his website. I like he listed where specifically he stands on a number of issues and that there was an energy behind him. So then I thought I'd check out Laura Friedman's campaign page and was really underwhelmed. She does not list her specific stances, but rather uses broad "feel good" terms that have no real meaning or bravery. Here's a sample: "She is committed to defending fundamental rights and expanding opportunity, shaped by a lifelong commitment to equality and justice that began early in her life." What? Wow, she's committed to "rights" and "opportunity?" Well, golly, I'm in favor of that, too! /s

She comes across as an AI version of a candidate not an actual person with the vigor to fight for her constituents. I mean, really, check he site out and there's really nothing there. What IS there is a large list of endorsements, which I don't discount. But I'm wondering why she garnered this support. I really do want to know. What has she done that would prompt these people to endorse her, aside from toe-ing the party line and voting with the other dems? I mean anyone can do that. Where is the leadership?

I am honestly not trying to take her down. I am an undecided voter and would like some perspective. Aside from endorsements, her campaign page doesn't give any really compelling reasons to vote for her. Can someone share what she's accomplished in her time in office and examples of bold leadership, which I think is what we need in these uncertain times?

Check out Joel Lava's page and then check out Friedman's. I think you'll see what I mean.
