150wpm on phone keyboard - possible?

hi! I have a couple physical disabilities that I can typically manage just fine, but sometimes they act up and I can only type on my phone, not my desktop setup, and even then with some pain in my thumb joints.

On a normal keyboard I have a 160wpm with 98% accuracy average, and on my phone about 60wpm with 93% accuracy.

During the days where I'm bedbound and unable to sit up properly to use a laptop, I still need to be able to do work even if I'm lying on my side and just typing on my phone.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can increase my speed when typing on my phone? I'm happy to learn a layout other than qwerty if needed, but I've found that the swipe-typing on iOS isn't what I'm looking for.

Feel free to redirect me if this isn't the best sub for this question. thanks!

Tips on making a medical device more comfortable?

For the next three weeks I have to wear what basically looks like a large tactical-looking watch to get some baseline data preceding some tests I'll be doing. I cannot take it off even to shower.

I have sensory issues and while normally I can wear my Apple Watch just fine, this one is so itchy and irritating to my skin, especially on the inside of my wrist. I'm wearing it as loosely as I dare and a few times today I've undone the straps entirely and just held the watch in place with my other hand, to try and let my skin breathe a bit.

I considered putting a bandaid on the inside of my wrist, but I'm not sure if that would irritate it further and theres not much else I can do considering Im not allowed to remove it (they were very clear that if I take it off, the watch will stop recording data and I'd have to restart the three weeks all over again).

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this more bearable to live with? it's driving me crazy.
